Pounding ocean waves, the glorious blue Pacific stretches as far as the eye can see --  no, this is not Jesus del Monte (63), Morelos (64) or Huandacareo (65), but it is every bit as precious to me.  I availed myself, finally, of the opportunity to reunite with my Amigos extended family after being away for far too many years.  This was definitely one of the better decisions I’ve made in my life, right up there with joining Amigos in the first place.  The venue is magnificent, the use of time was extremely well organized, the camaraderie was profound, the speakers and discussions were authentic.  I just wish I had started coming to these Amigos Retreats earlier.  But now that I’m here I promise myself to make this a yearly journey from Peoria, Arizona.  That commitment is sincere and I highly recommend it to all Amigos. You will love reuniting with these wonderful friends  and besides everything else the food is fantastic!
