VISIT TO APASEO - JULY 2017   HOW YOU CAN HELP   by Jack Walton

The Joseph O'Looney Scholarship Program is still active and making a difference.  This year our program expanded to 14 students, ranging from primary school to the university level.  Under the guidance of our director, Rosalia Cabrera, these amazing students are progressing toward their goals of obtaining the best education available.  Their hard work and enthusiasm is an inspiration to everyone who has had the opportunity to meet them.  My wife, Donna and I have been able to meet with Rosalia and the scholarship students every summer for the past decade.  It has been an honor and a privilege to represent all the very generous donors to the Joseph O'Looney Scholarship Program.

The trip to Apaseo el Grande is always the highlight of our year.  We hope that the information about each one of our scholarship students will inspire all of you to continue to generously support the scholarship fund.  Thank you very much for your past and future support.  You can donate online from this website by going to the home page, "Scholarships" and clicking on the DONATE button at the bottom of the page; or you can send a check to this address:   Amigos Anonymous, c/o Setsuko Amann, 2597 Lambert Ct., Union City, CA 94587.
